Found this really comprehensive article about adding tabs to your Sharepoint sites. Requires a bit of hacking in Frontpage, but gives quite a good look and a really useful addition to your sites.

w.bloggar
11 10 2004I like the thought of using different clients from any location to do my blogging. I don’t want to be restricted to having to use the web interface provided (although the Blogger interface is actually pretty good).
I currently trying out w.bloggar. No reason for this other than it was recommended by the author of an xml-rpc addon for mambo (but I haven’t been able to make it work yet… doh).

9 10 2004Found this on a forum I was reading…
“Windows – a 64 bit rewrite for a 32 bit extension to a 16 bit GUI on an 8 bit OS written for a 4 bit architecture by a 2 bit company who can’t stand 1 bit of competition.”

Windows Mobile User Group meeting
8 10 2004Just got back from the latest Wellington Windows Mobile User Group meeting. This month’s meeting was held at Unisys. We had approx 30 people attend who got to listen to 3 really good speakers. There presentations were on mobile email solutions, Blackberry vs Windows Mobile and Mobility “Notes from the Field”. All really awesome and interesting presentations. There was also lots of pizza, beer and socialising to be had by all. It was a great success.
Personally, I got to have a play with a new HP 4700 series PDA. Very nice! I’m very tempted to get one. I really like the VGA screen.
Next meeting is to be on November 4th and promises to be extremely interesting. I’ll post some more details closer to the time.
