Sumicom S625 SFF PC. How small is this!….

21 12 2004

King Young have released what they claim is the world’s smallest SFF PC. Supports full Pentium M and Celeron M CPU’s, not the slower Via chips, Intel 855 chipset, fits a slimline DVD drive and a 2.5″ laptop HDD. All runs off a 12V DC power supply. And the really interesting thing…. it fits inside a standard full-height bay. Go figure!

Windows Media Centre Extender for XBox reviewed

21 12 2004

Engadget has a link to a review of the MCE Extender for Xbox. This is a cool idea. Much cheaper than buying another media centre or even a standalone extender – and it plays games too!

My blog is now permanently here

8 12 2004

As permanently as anything is in cyberspace :-)

I needed to re-purpose my web server and the noise was becoming a pain for our guests (it’s in the guest room/office). I’d started this blog a while back to test some stuff (Pocketblog in particular – very cool!). So I’ve decided to make this the permanent home for my blog. Enjoy!

I’m not entirely convinced that this site gives me everything that I want (ie no categories), but hey it doesn’t cost me a bean!
